This bespoke diamond and white gold pendant was created to celebrate a remarkable milestone, our client’s twentieth wedding anniversary. Having previously designed a pendant to mark their tenth anniversary, set with ten diamonds to represent each year of marriage, he returned to us once again to continue that story.
For this new piece, the brief evolved naturally. The idea of marking each year remained central, leading to the incorporation of twenty diamonds – one for each year -embedded within a refined and contemporary design. It was important that this progression felt intentional, not only in symbolism but also in execution.
From the outset, our client had a clear aesthetic preference. He has always been drawn to a balanced composition, where diamonds and metal exist in equal harmony, creating a sense of structure without excess. This concept of a 50/50 balance became the foundation of the design.
Working closely together, Simon and Narell selected a series of design directions for the client, exploring how best to express this balance between diamonds and metal. Once shared, he quickly developed a clear preference for one particular concept. Narell then refined and developed this design further, carefully mapping out the composition to ensure both the aesthetic and structural balance were achieved. When the proposal was presented, the response was immediate, our client called to say how much he loved the design and asked us to proceed with creating the piece straight away.
The final design features twenty diamonds arranged within a sculptural white gold pendant, carefully mapped to maintain an even rhythm between brilliance and polished metal. Each section was considered in detail to ensure the composition remained balanced from every angle, resulting in a piece that feels both structured and fluid.
Crafted in white gold, the pendant offers a crisp, modern finish that enhances the natural brightness of the diamonds while maintaining a refined and understated elegance. Its elongated silhouette gives the piece a contemporary edge, allowing it to be worn effortlessly every day while still carrying the significance of a milestone jewel.
The result is a bespoke diamond pendant that is both deeply personal and quietly striking. A modern heirloom that builds on a story already begun.
