In a way it felt like life simply stopped this year, shops shut, restaurants closed their doors and nearly all of us were instructed to ‘stay at home’. But look a little deeper and you uncover heartwarming stories of human kindness and camaraderie, of neighbour helping neighbour, people putting themselves on the front line for strangers and, despite uncertain times, relationships blossoming in all of their wonderful forms.
During lockdown we were entrusted with many stories of love, from heart felt gifts commissioned to celebrate life’s milestones, to dream engagement rings thoughtfully and carefully designed from afar.
We wanted to share some of these celebrations, proof that love conquers all and not even Covid can dull our spirit.
