This bespoke baguette diamond wedding ring was designed to sit alongside a stunning W&W marquise diamond engagement ring. From the outset, baguettes were the defining element of the design. They already featured within the engagement ring, and it was important that the wedding band echoed this architectural language in a way that felt intentional, balanced and refined.
Our client initially shared a concept incorporating both round brilliant cut diamonds and baguettes. While both cuts can create beautiful contrast, it quickly became clear that baguette diamonds needed to lead the design. Their elongated silhouette offered the clean lines and elegance she was drawn to, and she expressed that she would love them to be “as long as possible” to maximise their presence.
Narell developed three bespoke design options with a strong emphasis on the baguettes, carefully considering proportion, spacing and flow. The final design forms a sculptural V-shape, allowing the band to nest seamlessly with her marquise engagement ring without obstructing the centre stone or side settings. This was a crucial stage of the process – ensuring that when worn together, each diamond remains visible and unobstructed, and the overall composition feels cohesive rather than crowded.
Set in rich yellow gold, the baguette diamonds are arranged to create a sense of symmetry and structure, softened by a delicate round brilliant diamond at the base of the V. The result is a contemporary, architectural wedding ring that enhances the engagement ring while remaining distinctive.
This custom baguette wedding band is a celebration of thoughtful collaboration. A modern heirloom designed to sit beautifully alongside a marquise diamond engagement ring, both now forming a harmonious bridal set.
