Commissioned by Zoë’s husband in celebration of the birth of their first child who was born during lockdown, we crafted this bespoke handmade pendant using an exquisite diamond taken from an inherited necklace. Following the creation of her W&W engagement ring and a pair of diamond earrings, we had kept this beautiful old cut diamond stored in our safe until the time was right.

Using her engagement ring as inspiration, Emma created a series of complementing pendant designs displaying the beautiful stone at its best. After the final design was agreed, the necklace was created remotely during lockdown under careful supervision from our W&W team.

The finished piece features the treasured old cut diamond at its heart, surrounded by brilliant cut diamonds graduating in size to create an impressive cushion shaped halo. Truly a piece filled with love, the pendant was presented to Zoë in time for her birthday celebrations.
