Designing a bespoke engagement ring is always a meaningful process, but when a client is recommended to us, the journey feels even more special. As was the case with this stunning three-stone engagement ring.

The project began with a thoughtful brief and a clear sense of purpose. Keen to incorporate yellow gold in the design, as he knew it would suit his partner’s timeless style, we ensured that this was at the heart of our design work, but there were other key considerations too. He described her as petite, with slender fingers, so it was important the design was delicate and proportional. Together, we explored a variety of settings that were both slender and elegant – something that would enhance the chosen gemstones without overpowering her hand.

Our client was keen for the focal point of the engagement ring to be a beautiful oval diamond, the size of which he had carefully researched, however the rest of the engagement ring design was undecided. We presented him with various options for side stones to balance the central diamond, guiding him towards shapes that would seamlessly complement the oval centre stone whilst maintaining the refined and elegant feel that was key for this ring. After much consideration was decided two perfectly sized oval side diamonds enhanced the central stone without detracting from its beauty.

The result is a beautifully balanced three-stone engagement ring set in gorgeous rich gold. We were delighted to hear that both our client and his partner are over the moon with the finished piece which he presented to her on a trip to New Zealand.
