Our client came to us with a bespoke ring remodelling vision for two meaningful pieces in her jewellery collection: a cherished oval cut diamond engagement ring, and a full channel set diamond eternity ring which she no longer wore. Both rings held sentimental value, but they no longer felt cohesive when worn together. She wished to remodel the rings to sit beautifully side by side and create a greater sense of harmony and impact when worn together.

We began this project by carefully altering the eternity ring to fit our client’s hand perfectly, without compromising its striking design.

Next, we turned our attention to the oval cut diamond. Rather than resetting the stone in its original mount, we designed a brand-new bespoke engagement ring to perfectly complement the proportions and styling of the adapted eternity ring. The band of the new ring was carefully designed to mirror the width of the eternity ring, creating a balanced visual flow when the two rings are worn together.

To complement the channel set eternity ring, we opted for a grain-set band for the new bespoke engagement ring. This traditional setting style involves delicately setting small diamonds into the band using tiny beads of metal to hold each stone in place. It creates a beautifully textured surface that reflects the light in a soft, shimmering way, providing beautiful contrast with her eternity ring whilst still feeling unified. The diamonds in the new band were carefully matched in size to those in the eternity ring, ensuring a seamless visual rhythm across both pieces. The result is a refined and radiant pairing – two rings with distinct personalities that now belong together.
