This couple’s journey to creating their unique engagement ring was all about collaboration and vision. They reached out to design the engagement ring together, and from the start, she had a clear idea of what she wanted. Every detail was discussed in depth, from the shape, size, and colour of the gemstones to the choice of metal for the settings and the band. It was a meticulous process because she had a specific vision and knew exactly the look and feel she wanted to achieve.

The standout feature of this unique engagement ring is the centre gemstone. Ashleigh, our production coordinator, went above and beyond to source a stunning selection of unique stones, exploring a captivating range of colours, including teal, blue, and green hues. Richard then presented the selection to the couple. It quickly became apparent that one stone had captured their heart – a stunning bi-coloured sapphire. They both felt an instant connection to this sapphire, a truly exceptional gem with mesmerising striations of dark “jeans” blue and light sky-blue weaving throughout.

Once the gemstone was selected, focus shifted to bringing the detailed design to life. The choice of using yellow gold to set the bi-coloured sapphire proved to be inspired, enhancing the stone’s striking, multi-toned beauty. The design was approved in no time at all; their clarity of vision made it an easy process.
