There is something wonderfully powerful about commissioning a piece of bespoke jewellery for no other reason than you want to! This citrine and yellow gold dome ring was born from exactly that sentiment – a celebration of self-worth, self-expression, and the joy of bespoke jewellery.

Our client came to us with a clear brief: she wanted a statement piece made just for her. Not to mark an anniversary, not for a milestone birthday – simply because she deserved it. Her inspiration echoed the spirit of our Self-Love Jewellery Movement — a theme we recently explored in our journal.

The design of the ring is striking in its simplicity. A bold, polished yellow gold band sweeps elegantly around the finger, tapering subtly at the back for comfort. At the centre sits a beautifully cut rectangular citrine, bezel set for a clean, modern profile. The warm, golden tones of the gemstone complement the metal perfectly, creating a cohesive look that feels both contemporary and timeless. The dome profile of the band adds weight and presence, without overwhelming the hand.

As with all our bespoke jewellery, this design was made in close collaboration with our client, right from the initial sketches and gemstone selection through to the final polish. Pieces like this remind us that beautiful jewellery needn’t wait for a reason and that sometimes, the most wonderful stories are the ones we write for ourselves.
