Their original ring had been a daily companion through life’s milestones, but over time, natural wear and tear had taken its toll. When the centre diamond was sadly lost, they came to us to breathe new life into the piece while honouring its original sentiment.

The brief was to recreate the original engagement ring design with the same proportions, reusing the smaller diamonds set into the shoulders, and sourcing a new, exceptional centre stone. Working closely to match the original dimensions, we sourced a cushion cut diamond that was slightly larger than the original, with enhanced clarity and brilliance, to create a more striking focal point.

Set in a landscape (east-to-west) orientation, the cushion cut diamond is secured by elegant double claw settings on each corner – a detail from the original ring – now made more prominent for both durability and visual impact. The grain-set diamond shoulders sparkle with the couple’s original stones, their light play echoing the shared history woven into the design. The open setting beneath the diamond allows maximum light to flood through, while the clean profile and sculpted gallery give the ring both strength and grace.
