This season we have seen a big shift towards gemstones that display natural green tones. This ring was commissioned with the aim of finding a Sapphire with a beautiful deep bottle green hue whilst still having a bright sparkle. The process of finding the right gemstone for our clients requires us to present a range of stones that have been carefully selected with the help of our on-site Gemmologist, Edwina. From there we give our clients the appropriate information and guidance on choosing the right stone for their special piece of jewellery. Quite often, it is love at first sight when a client sees their stone of choice. It is then over to our designer, Claire to find a way to best showcase the stone and reflect the clients’ tastes. In this instance we set the Oval Cut Sapphire in Yellow Gold to enhance its warm tones, and sat the stone between two clusters of bright white Brilliant Cut Diamonds to give that striking contrast.
