Although Richard first met with both partners to discuss their vision for this one of a kind engagement ring, subsequent appointments were led by him. This incredible engagement ring is a creative exploration of style, gemstone arrangement, and structural design. She was keen to feature emeralds but wasn’t initially sure how to incorporate them. After considering various combinations, they decided on a striking emerald-cut diamond as the centrepiece, flanked by tapered baguettes each side and accented by vibrant emeralds along the band – a choice that felt both bold and balanced.

To find the perfect stones for the piece, we guided them through the decision-making process, showcasing a curated selection of emerald and radiant-cut diamonds alongside exquisite emerald gemstones. To help visualise proportions, we also showed them some finished pieces. This hands-on approach enabled the couple to confidently select the perfect emerald-cut diamond, which became the foundation for the design.

The final piece was crafted with a framed setting for the centre diamond featuring a delicate claw finish, a style inspired by some of our previous fine jewellery designs. The intricate proportions and precise spacing were a structural feat, ensuring harmony between the central diamond and the surrounding stones. Set in radiant yellow gold to enhance the richness of the emeralds, the result is a show-stopping custom jewellery design that commands attention.

To meet the timeline for the proposal, Richard hand-delivered the completed ring to the client’s office in central London. The result? A stunning one of a kind diamond engagement ring that beautifully reflects their story and captures the essence of a lifelong commitment.
