Jewellery is prized not just for beauty, but also sentimental value and often becomes a treasured heirloom, keeping family stories and traditions alive for years to come.

These bespoke ruby pendants were commissioned by a client who wanted to upcycle rubies from an old piece of jewellery. Her brief was to create two pretty pink pendants, to present to her daughters as a special gift.

Knowing her preference for rose gold and love of nature, we designed and crafted two quite different pendants. One has an emerald cut ruby, surrounded by a petal detail design, set with round brilliant diamonds. The other necklace features an oval shaped ruby, framed with asymmetric leaves, also set with diamonds.

Both have been cast in rose gold, which complements the pink tones of the stunning rubies, while the diamonds in each piece highlight their depth and sparkle. Each pendant may be unique in design, but they echo the same sentiments and are both timeless pieces, made with peerless craftmanship and attention to detail.
