Upon getting engaged, our client was able to choose a piece of jewellery from her future Mother-in-law’s collection to be her engagement ring. She chose a vintage solitaire ring that contained a stunning Old Mine Cut Diamond but was keen to have it reset into a mount that was more suited to her style.
She liked the idea of adding some extra sparkle to enhance the beauty of the central Diamond, and after discussing various design possibilities, our designer Emma, sketched a selection of rings to choose from. The chosen design incorporates a halo of Modern Round Brilliant Cut Diamonds that graduate in size to give the ring a cushion shape, and a split shank that elegantly sweeps up to each corner of the halo. Handmade in platinum with a total carat weight of 1.93ct, our client’s remodelled engagement ring perfectly suits her style, and will hopefully be cherished by future generations to come.
In an email to Emma, the client expressed her delight, commenting:
“A huge thank you for creating something so beautiful and something that will remain so special to me for many, many years. I appreciate all your time, expertise and creativity and for making the journey so much fun.
I’m absolutely thrilled with it. I knew from the first moment of meeting with you, that you were the person to design my engagement ring. You have not let me down!! Thank you for being such a superstar”.
