A Thoughtful Journey to the Perfect Ring

Recommended to W&W by a friend and existing client, Anthony arrived at our studio well-prepared. He wanted to create the engagement ring of his partner Jess’s dreams. Every detail was designed to reflect their shared memories.

Selecting the Perfect Yellow Sapphire

With a clear vision of Jess’s preferences, we sourced a stunning selection of yellow sapphires. The gemstones varied in hues, shapes, and sizes. Among them, a striking yellow octagon-cut sapphire caught Anthony’s eye. It became the centrepiece of Jess’s bespoke ring.

To complement the sapphire, we paired it with pear-cut diamonds and warm gold. Our jewellery designer, Narell, created detailed, coloured sketches for Anthony to review and approve.

A Personal Touch with a Lotus-Inspired Design

Determined to make the ring even more special, Anthony wanted a meaningful detail. Jess, an avid yogi, finds deep significance in the lotus flower. To honour this, we incorporated a lotus shape into the basket holding the sapphire. This sentimental touch made the ring unique to their love story.

A Proposal to Remember

Anthony chose picturesque Holland Park as the setting for their proposal. He led Jess to the park’s central fountain, handed her a coin, and asked her to make a wish. When she turned around, she found him on one knee, holding her beautiful bespoke ring. The moment captured their journey perfectly.
