We were deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Wendy Ramshaw, one of Britain’s most influential jewellery designers. Renowned for her geometric style, Ramshaw was a pioneering artist that pushed the boundaries of jewellery design and paved the way for so many of those in the industry today.
As lifelong fans of Ramshaw’s work, we were incredibly excited to have featured a rare set of her iconic stacking rings in our first Jewellery Box Collection. A stack of six rings with shimmering moonstones and amethyst cabochons in her signature style, the set also included the original Perspex stand – a trademark of Ramshaw’s designs.
Ramshaw herself was a rare gem in the world of jewellery but her influence will continue to live on.
Although our main focus at W&W is on the beautiful bespoke jewellery we create, over the years we have also sourced special pieces crafted by other jewellery artists, such as the above Wendy Ramshaw stacking rings. Richard has a deep interest in jewellery history, so if you are interested in finding or creating something specific, contact him on dickie@wandwjewellery.com and he will be more than happy to discuss.
