Diamond and Aquamarine Bespoke Engagement Ring

This diamond and aquamarine bespoke engagement ring was commissioned by a client who had a strong vision for the final piece, having identified several elements he admired from previous W&W Jewellery commissions. Through a series of consultations, we explored different design directions and refined the concept based on his preferences.

One of the key considerations was the ring’s profile. The client wanted the design to sit low on the finger whilst still allowing a wedding band to fit neatly alongside it. Achieving the right balance between elegance, practicality and visual impact became central to the design process.

To help bring the concept to life, Simon sourced a range of gemstones, including brilliant-cut and oval diamonds, emeralds and aquamarines in various shapes and sizes. We also explored alternative concepts featuring coloured gemstone centre stones before meeting at our London bespoke jewellery studio to review the options in person.

Following the consultation, the client selected a round brilliant-cut diamond paired with pear-shaped aquamarines. The combination offered the timeless beauty of a classic diamond engagement ring with a distinctive splash of colour.

We developed two low-profile design concepts, both carefully engineered to maximise comfort and wearability whilst maintaining a refined silhouette. Once the preferred design was chosen, the ring was further refined through the CAD stage, ensuring every detail was perfectly balanced before production.

The finished platinum three-stone engagement ring features a sparkling round brilliant-cut diamond framed by vibrant pear-cut aquamarines. Elegant from every angle, the design combines contemporary styling with enduring craftsmanship, resulting in a bespoke engagement ring that feels both personal and timeless.
