Unique Diamond Engagement Ring

A client who lives local to Clapham and Battersea approached us looking to create a truly unique engagement ring for his partner. His vision was to make a ring that beautifully blended old with new, combining the deep sentimental value of diamonds taken from an inherited ring with a fresh, contemporary design.

From the outset, our client had a very clear concept in mind, bringing a collection of reference images to our initial consultation which clearly demonstrated his fine jewellery preferences. Using this as a guide, Simon set about sourcing a stunning range of round brilliant-cut diamonds to serve as the centrepiece of this unique engagement ring. Accompanied by his mother-in-law, they carefully examined each diamond, ensuring that the final choice was the perfect one for his future fiancée.

The design brief was to create a timeless custom engagement ring that not only captured the moment but would also stand the test of time. Ensuring a classic and enduring elegance was therefore paramount in every aspect of the design process. Taking inspiration from the pictures he brought to the consultation, we designed the ring in luxurious yellow gold. His preference for grain setting was integrated into the shoulders of the unique engagement ring, a decision that added both beauty and function, as it securely held the inherited diamonds in place. These diamonds, rich in personal history and sentiment, were the very soul of this bespoke creation.

This project wasn’t merely about designing a unique engagement ring; it was about creating a custom jewellery piece that channelled this couple’s individual love story.
