As experienced bespoke jewellery designers, we also assessed the marquise diamond’s condition. While it was stunning, its thick girdle limited its brilliance. We recommended recutting the stone to optimise its proportions, enhancing its sparkle, and creating a centrepiece worthy of the unique engagement ring the couple envisioned.
