Inherited jewellery, especially when it was left by someone you were close to, can bring with it all kinds of emotions. Earlier this year, our client decided that the time was right to reimagine a sapphire cluster ring which had belonged to her mother into a piece she would wear and love for years to come.

Following telephone calls and in-depth consultations, our designer Emma shared a range of potential designs via our online portal. We discussed these in detail with our client, tweaking and adapting until the design was absolutely perfect.

The end result saw the original ring transformed into a sapphire and diamond pendant with a beautiful pear cut sapphire halo set and suspended by three diamonds. Our client is overjoyed with the finished piece and says that she knows her mother would have loved it too. When restrictions were lifted she debuted her new necklace on her first evening out, receiving lots of lovely compliments.
