Recommended to us by a family member and existing W&W client, we were delighted to hear from Will who was looking for the perfect bespoke engagement ring for his partner, Bea.

With a sapphire bespoke cluster engagement ring in mind, our process began by sourcing various sapphires for Will to consider. We curated an exceptional selection of sapphires, varying in size and tone. One in particular stood out to him as the perfect choice for the bespoke engagement ring – it was love at first sight!

Will was an active collaborator in the design process, suggesting angled diamond settings and a floral-themed basket to reflect his partner’s love of wildflowers. With the sapphire selected, the diamond proportions decided, and the initial idea agreed, we moved to the digital phase, designing the ring in CAD for his approval.

Once the cluster engagement ring design was finalised, we began the intricate process of casting each element, which was then meticulously assembled by hand, including a secret amethyst set into the 18ct gold band. A final polish and the ring was ready for Will to collect.

Shortly after the proposal, Richard received an email from the happy couple:
