Every bespoke commission begins with a story and for this special piece, it was Dan’s thoughtful vision for his partner’s engagement ring that set the tone from the very beginning. Knowing her tastes intimately, Dan approached us with a clear sense of the piece he wanted to create: a unique and deeply personal engagement ring with an elegant, timeless design.

Together, we embarked on a creative journey, blending delicate natural inspirations into the design with a focus on soft asymmetry and fluidity which subtly echo organic forms.

Selecting the right gemstone was at the heart of this commission. Dan was keen to find a true teal sapphire that captured just the right balance of blue and green tones. After presenting him with a hand-selected collection of sapphires, Dan chose an exquisite oval-cut teal sapphire, a stunning stone with a rich depth of colour which beautifully shifts in different lights. Diamond accents either side of the central sapphire add a delightful, subtle sparkle, enhancing the flow within the twisting platinum design.

From initial sketches through to detailed CAD development and skilled hand-finishing, this piece was created with exceptional care and precision. The result is a one-of-a-kind engagement ring that reflects Dan’s partner’s style and beautifully captures their shared story.
