Following the creation of a bespoke engagement ring featuring a stunning colourless oval diamond flanked by brown pear-cut diamonds, our client returned to us with a vision for bespoke bridal jewellery. Their visit to our annual Gemstone Event last year – an exclusive evening showcasing over 100 rare and unusual gemstones – sparked inspiration for the bespoke bridal jewellery set.

Amidst the dazzling array of gemstones on display, one stood out – a uniquely cut brown zircon. This gemstone captured their hearts, not just for its rarity, but for how perfectly it complemented our client’s hair colour, complexion and also her W&W engagement ring. The couple felt this remarkable stone would be the perfect centrepiece for a bespoke pendant to be worn on their wedding day.

It was important our design didn’t detract from the zircon’s exceptional cut and natural beauty. The gemstone, skillfully shaped by a master gem cutter, deserved a setting that would allow its brilliance to shine. After careful consideration, we decided on a timeless design using talon claws to elegantly cradle the zircon while ensuring maximum visibility of the stone’s facets. To add an extra touch of luxury, delicate diamond detailing was incorporated into the bail of the pendant.

To complement the warm, rich tones of the brown zircon, we chose buttery yellow gold for the setting. This choice not only enhances the gemstone’s colour but also ties the entire piece together with a harmonious blend of hues.

To complete the bespoke bridal jewellery set, we also created a pair of colourless oval diamond studs. These custom earrings were designed to perfectly complement her engagement ring, echoing the brilliance of the central diamond to create a cohesive and sophisticated look. The studs added an elegant finishing touch to her W&W bridal jewellery collection, ensuring that the entire ensemble worked perfectly together – from the engagement ring to the bespoke pendant and earrings.
